Spitfire Symphony Orchestra: A world of light
Working with Spitfire Audio, who create virtual instruments and sample libraries for music makers, we were set the task of adding drama and intrigue to their restructured Symphony Orchestra package. Inspired by light theory, we created a series of windows that acted as portals into atmospheric worlds, enveloping us with colours and texture that feel both real and abstract at the same time.
These otherworldly lights spill out and interact with other parts of our toolkit, spilling out and bringing colour to the otherwise black and white art direction.
When bringing this brand to life, our approach was simple, the textures themselves provide depth and curiosity, encouraging viewers to explore more. This allowed other elements, like typography to sit simply alongside the hero element.
The light texture transitions beautifully into the physical world too, where the texture and haze of the glows and rays are only enhanced by various materials.
